Meditation in Motion


Simple Movement. Real Presence.

Join us for a virtual session every Saturday at 9 a.m.

Meditation in Motion is a simple, science-supported way to reconnect with your body, reset your nervous system, and restore emotional balance. 


It blends gentle movement, breath, and focused attention into an approachable daily practice. 


No experience required. Just show up as you are. 


Sessions run 30 - 40 minutes. Donations appreciated but not required; first session is free.

Why Meditation in Motion?

Nervous System Reset

These movements help shift you out of "fight-or-flight" and into a more balanced state. You'll feel grounded, calm, and more focused.

Embodied Mindfulness

This is mindfulness in motion. Instead of sitting still, we use movement to anchor awareness and return to the present.

Emotional Regulation

Your body plays a key role in regulating emotions. Meditative movement helps you slow down and respond -- not just react. 

Breathing with Intention

Each movement is guided by the breath. This gentle rhythm helps focus the mind while calming the body. 

Stillness in Motion

Find quiet even while moving. This is a practice of soft awareness and slowing down in a busy world.

Daily Mental Health Practice

Just like brushing your teeth, a few minutes a day makes a big difference. Small steps lead to big change. 

A Gentle Path to Presence

You don't need to "get it right." Your body already knows how to reconnect -- this practice is about listening.

Consent to Participate:

  1. Acknowledgment of Risks: I understand that participating in these Meditative Movement sessions involves physical activity that may present risks, including, but not limited to, minor injuries, muscle strains, or exacerbation of existing conditions. I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own health and safety during these activities.
  2. Health Disclosure: I have disclosed any existing health conditions or injuries to the instructor that might affect my participation in these events. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the instructor of any changes to my health that might affect my ability to participate safely.
  3. Medical Clearance: I confirm that I have consulted with a healthcare provider, if necessary, to ensure that participating in these events is safe for me. I agree to follow any recommendations or restrictions provided by my healthcare provider. 
  4. Voluntary Participation: I understand that my participation in these events is voluntary, and I may choose to withdraw from the class at any time if I feel uncomfortable or experience any discomfort.
  5. Liability Waiver: I agree to release and hold harmless the instructor, facility, and any affiliates from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action that may arise out of my participation in these events, including any claims for personal injury or property damage. 
  6. Confidentiality: I consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken during the class for promotional or educational purposes. If I do not wish to be included, I will notify the instructor prior to the session.

Dual relationships disclaimer

In the course of providing therapy, there may be situations where dual relationships occur, such as participating in Meditative Movement sessions or other events together. A dual relationship is one in which the therapist and client have a relationship outside of the therapeutic context. While dual relationships are not inherently unethical, they can create potential conflicts of interest and affect the therapeutic process. As your therapist, I am committed to maintaining clear professional boundaries and ensuring that any dual relationships do not interfere with the therapeutic process or your well-being. If you choose to participate in any sessions or events led by me, we will discuss and evaluate any potential impacts on our therapeutic work together. We will collaboratively address any concerns and make adjustments as needed to ensure that your therapy remains effective and your boundaries are respected. It is important to manage any potential conflicts of interest to maintain the integrity of the therapeutic relationship. If you have any questions or concerns about this, please feel free to discuss them with me.  

Acknowledgment and Agreement:

 I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this consent form. I have had the opportunity to ask questions and have received satisfactory answers. My attendance at these events constitutes my consent to participate in the Meditative Movement session and acknowledge that I do so at my own risk.
