Shibashi Qigong event on March 30 at Pilates Physique

Join us for our upcoming event on March 30!

Shibashi Qigong / Tai Chi 18

Tai Chi Qigong 18 Form (Shibashi) is a series of gentle, flowing movements designed to improve physical and mental health.

It can increase energetic vitality, rejuvenate the mind, body, and soul, and increase agility and flexibility. It also helps with circulation, balance, coordination, gentle stretching, and stress reduction.

The movements combine breathing and movement exercises, emphasizing controlled breathing, weight shifting, and coordination of leg and arm movements.

Shibashi Qigong was developed through the Yang style, one of the five traditional Tai Chi styles. It's considered a short routine suitable for beginners, offering a gentle introduction to the principles of Tai Chi and Qigong.

Qigong is often viewed as the foundation of Tai Chi, with practitioners learning to move their bodies and feel internal energy (qi or chi).
