We will be hosting this FREE event at the Rec Center in Huntersville, NC to celebrate a day of healing, connecting and sharing.
This event is free and open to all ages!
We will be outside (under the covering) at 10am, with introductions and info on Tai Chi, Qigong, mindfulness and Acupressure Points. Tell your friends!

Qigong is a traditional Chinese practice that combines gentle movements, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Qigong is a FREE and available resource to all. You need no special clothes or equipment, just you and your willingness to try something new for health, healing and finding balance and calm in the mind and body.

Tai Chi is often described as a moving meditation and offers great value in treating or preventing many health problems.
Originally Tai Chi was used as a form of self-defense, but now it is also practiced as a health-promoting exercise.
Tai Chi is complementary to medical treatments such as physical therapy and counseling because the meditative movements are not only strengthening to the physical body but also very calming to the mind and the emotions.
Health benefits include increased energy, immunity, bone density, and strength, especially in the legs, which will help to improve balance. Mental health benefits include relief from stress, anxiety, depression, pain, and a deeper, more restorative sleep.
